Following last week’s defeat to table-topping Fiorentina, Fabio Grosso’s Primavera got their league campaign back on track with a 3-1 home success over lowly Carpi in Ivrea this afternoon.

Luca Clemenza bagged the opener from the penalty spot just shy of the half hour mark before doubling the Bianconeri’s advantage eight minutes before the break.

With 22 minutes to go, King Udoh seemingly wrapped up proceedings by notching Juventus’ third before Edoardo Barbato pulled a goal back for the away side 60 seconds later.

All in all, it was a good day’s work for Grosso’s starlets who next face Olympiacos in the UEFA Youth League in three days’ time before returning to domestic action against Bologna on Sunday 9 November.
