Claudio Gabetta’s Giovanissimi Nazionali have started this season as they mean to go on.
Following on from last weekend’s hard-fought 2-1 victory away at Pavia, the starlets continued their rich vein of form with a 3-1 home success against Pro Vercelli in Vinovo this morning.
Alessandro Lombardi put the home side ahead after only eight minutes had elapsed before opposition defender Simone Starno pegged the Bianconeri backwith a goal 17 minutes after the break.
Up stepped Juventus' Bioty Moise Kean to take the game by the scruff of its neck however, as the young striker first netted midway through the second-half before wrapping up all three points ten minutes before the end.
This morning’s result keeps the Giovanissimi Nazionali flying high at the summit of the league with 12 points from 12.
Next up for Gabetta’s starlets sees the visit of Sef Torres in Vinovo on Sunday 12 October.
