A refresher course for Bianconeri coaching staff at all levels was presented at the Media Center in Vinovo yesterday evening, with CEO Giuseppe Marotta in attendance.
The aim of these specialised lessons is to increase coaches' knowledge and awareness of the Juventus method by offering shared training practices that can be adopted at all levels, from the first team down through the youth sides.
The course is being run for the second consecutive year by Training Check under the supervision of professor Roberto Sassi. Besides keeping a constant watch on the players' fitness, he works with the club's technical staff to optimise results in the fields of medicine, psychology and physical fitness.
The 50-hour course for coaches, fitness trainers, goalkeeping coaches and rehabilitation specialists is divided into two-hour lessons that take place throughout the week. It covers both general topics and more specific ones for each area of expertise.
The lessons coordinated by professor Sassi will be held by the men in charge of the club's various technical, physical, goalkeeping and medical sections. The course also includes a number of scientific meetings with researchers from the Mapei Sport Research Centre and international experts.
