An enjoyable tradition stretching back to 2004 was maintained when AC Azzurri, a Japanese youth team side, flew to Turin for a week of training and practice matches with their Bianconeri counterparts.

The Azzurri, a Sendai-based club founded in the wake of World Cup 2002, have been regular visitors to Italy in recent years and had the opportunity of putting their skills to the test against the Giovanissimi Nazionali in yesterday’s training ground friendly.

Their full immersion into the Bianconeri world is to continue with a visit to Juventus Stadium for Saturday’s fixture against Empoli, while the end of the Easter weekend will see them participate in the ‘Memorial Stefano Gusella’ international tournament.
