With the return of domestic football at the weekend, a number of the Bianconeri’s young stars out on loan were able to get back into the swing of things for their respective sides.

First up in this week’s #TalentTrack is Federico Mattiello. The utility player, currently at Chievo, suffered a double-leg fracture seven months ago, but the 20-year-old was quick to make up for lost time, setting up Sergio Pellissier to score in yesterday’s 3-2 defeat at Genoa.

Meanwhile, there were two men who found the net themselves at the weekend in Marcel Buchel and Gabriel Appelt Pires, on loan at Empoli and Spanish second division outfit Leganes respectively.

Austrian-born Buchel, who represents Lichtenstein at international level, struck a spectacular goal from outside the box in his team’s 3-1 loss against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, while Brazilian midfielder Pires headed home in a 2-2 draw with Girona.
