Juventus striker Alvaro Morata turns 23 today.
The Spaniard has quickly established himself as a key component of Massimiliano Allegri’s side. In his first season in Serie A, Morata played his part in the Bianconeri’s Scudetto and Coppa Italia triumphs, while scoring five goals in the Champions League, helping the team reach the final in Berlin.
The forward matched Alessandro Del Piero’s illustrious record of netting in five consecutive games in Europe’s premier club competition after finding the target this term against Manchester City and Sevilla to follow on from strikes in last year’s latter stages against Real Madrid (over two legs) and Barcelona.
Morata has combined his undoubted talent and technical qualities with immense enthusiasm and commitment to the cause, capturing the hearts and minds of Bianconeri fans and colleagues alike.
Everyone associated with Juventus Football Club wishes Alvaro many happy returns on his special day.
