Juventus launches on Dugout!

Today Juventus officially launched on Dugout, the new digital platform designed to bring supporters ever closer to the globe’s greatest clubs by offering them free access to behind-the-scenes content, some of which will be made available before being published on the clubs’ social media channels.

The Bianconeri have joined forces with 26 other elite clubs across the globe including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Milan, as well as a number of the world’s best-known footballers past and present.

Each club and player has a dedicated Dugout profile to upload content, with an emphasis on entertaining fans, who will benefit from a totally personalised experience based on the teams and footballers they follow.

“It’s a cause for pride to be among Dugout’s founder clubs,” declared Federico Palomba – Co-Chief Revenue Officer & Head of Marketing and Digital at Juventus. “This is something of a “home of football,” a platform through which we will provide football fans, and our supporters in particular, with the most authentic and immediate content to involve them as much as possible in this new digital environment. It's very exciting to unite our objectives with those of the world’s leading clubs in order to reach the widest possible global audience. Dugout’s innovative spirit matches the avant-guarde approach that Juventus has always shown in the digital media sector.”

“Dugout was devised and built for the fans,” explained Elliot Richardson – president and co-founder of Dugout. “The game today is truly global and fans don’t just want to watch matches in their own country. They want to follow their favourite clubs and players across the world, on and off the pitch. A combination of factors, from the explosion of international TV rights to the rise of social media, have provided Dugout with an unprecedented opportunity to reach the estimated 3.5 billion football fans across the world. We think they will love what they see.”

Supporters can sign up to this service, which will enable them to view some content before it is published on the clubs’ social media channels, free of charge at Dugout.com. The website and Dugout mobile app are accessible on desktop, tablet and smartphones.

We can assure that there’ll be plenty of surprises in store, so do not hesitate to join in on the excitement!
