Updates on Bonucci and Dani Alves

Further medical examinations on Leonardo Bonucci have revealed the full extent of the injury which prematurely forced the defender from the field against Genoa on Sunday.

Today's tests confirmed that Bonucci is set to be on the sidelines for between 45 and 60 days after straining the biceps femoris muscle in his left thigh. The expected recovery period may be revised in light of ongoing assessment of the Italian.
