Medhi Benatia was the first Juventus player to take the field on Friday, as Morocco took on Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Benatia's side won 2-0 thanks to Hakim Ziyech's brace, with Benatia playing the full match.

It was the same scoreline in the Nations League match between the Netherlands and France, except Blaise Matuidi was on the losing side in Rotterdam for the Nations League. The Oranje prevailed with goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay, Matuidi played 65 minutes for Les Bleus.

In the Bianconeri derby between Brazil with Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro and Rodrigo Bentancur's Uruguay, played at the Emirates Stadium in London, it was Brazil who came out on top 1-0, thanks to a second half penalty scored by Neymar. Bentancur played the full 90 minutes, whilst Douglas Costa lasted for 67' and Alex Sandro was an unused substitute.

Finally, Paulo Dybala remained on the field for 72 minutes in the friendly match between Argentina and Mexico at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Cordoba. La Joya made his mark on the game with an assist on a free-kick for Ramiro Funes Mori's header, which opened the scoring at the end of the first half. In the 83rd minute, Isaac Brizuela scored an own-goal to hand a 2-0 victory to the Albiceleste.

This evening will see yet another Bianconeri derby, as Italy take on Portugal at the San Siro in Milan in the Nations League. Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Daniele Rugani, Mattia De Sciglio have all been selected for the Azzurri, whilst Joao Cancelo is in the Portugal squad.
