After a remarkable 2018 for Juventus has just come to end, with the club lifting their seventh-consecutive Scudetto and fourth-straight Coppa Italia, as well as closing the year with the record points total, the time is now to look ahead at the next goals.

Chief Football Officer, Fabio Paratici is well aware of that, and speaking to Sky Sport from Dubai, where he is participating in the Globe Soccer Awards (also in the company of Cristiano Ronaldo and Blaise Matuidi), he spoke about the Bianconeri's ambitions in 2019:

"We hope it will be a year as good as, if not better than those we have experienced in the last seven, this is the wish I give to all the people who work for Juventus and all the fans.

"The first thought of 2019 - adds Paratici - is the Champions League, which has become our goal, especially after playing at the highest level in the last few tournaments. We are ready to be leading lights until the end and we have more belief than in previous years."

Greater awareness that also comes from the quality guaranteed by the Juventus coach - "I think Allegri is the best possible coach for Juventus and Juventus is the perfect team for the coach."

The presence in the squad of a champion like Cristiano Ronaldo is also a very important factor- "Cristiano is the best player in the world - comments the Chief Football Officer - so with his arrival everyone's belief has increased, however, we were already at a high level. Juve has always been a club that competes at the top, and in recent years we have always played well in the Champions League, and we have had great players; but now we also have Cristiano Ronaldo."
