Alex Sandro and his Brazil teammates progressed to the next round of the Copa America after topping their group last night following an impressive win against Peru.
It was one-way traffic at Arena Corinthians, when Tite’s team went on to claim a 5-0 drubbing over their fellow South Americans in the final group match of the Copa America.
Casemiro opened the scoring after just 12 minutes on the clock, before Roberto Firmino and Everton scored their first half goals. Former Bianconero Dani Alves then made it 4-0 after the break, before Willian scored the fifth in the 90th minute. Alex Sandro came on in the 57th minute of the game, as he helped his side progress to the next round of the tournament.
Tonight, Paulo Dybala and Argentina will face Qatar, while Cuadrado’s Colombia will take on Paraguay. Both games will kick-off at 21:00.
