It is difficult to find a consolation when fate decides to take away a friend, a champion, and a boy with the qualities of Andrea Fortunato.

It is difficult to explain how it is possible for Andrea to have gone like he did, in that way, cruel and unfair. In the prime of his life, when his career was still full of promises.

It is difficult, even after 24 years on from that tragic day on April 25, 1995 - the day when we received the news of his passing.

What remains instead, and will always be alive, is the memory of Andrea: a golden boy, a great player. One of us.
