Leonardo Bonucci spoke about the present and, of course, the immediate future.

He also talked about his book, "My friend Leo", written alongside Francesco Ceniti and which was officially launched today in Turin in the presence of Juventus President, Andrea Agnelli, Chief Football Officer Fabio Paratici, Head of Techincal Areas Federico Cherubini and Maurizio Lombardo, General Secretary, sitting in the stalls.

"It’s a story that addresses the difficult issue of bullying,” says Leo. “It is a problem that I also had as a child and that I kept hidden for years. This is a book that I hope will be useful to the victims, but maybe even to the bullies, who often have problem.

And on the occasion, Leo obviously also talked about football, above all, the impending match against Sassuolo: "It’s another game to win".

“We are growing and improving both physically and mentally: this allows us to be more aggressive. When we find opponents, who give us the space to make the ball move quickly, Sarri’s play will come to fruition.”

The defender then touched on his personal form this season: “I'm always playing, and on the one hand, this fills me with pride, and on the other, it gives me even more responsibility. After Giorgio's injury I was made Captain, and I took on this role with the utmost seriousness and attention to detail, even off the field. I have also just extended my contract: I came back here to be a leader of this club, and once again I thank everyone for this renewal.”

Finally: “de Ligt is improving, he is a boy who pays attention to details, we talk to him every day. He needed time, but I believe he will become one of the best defenders in the world. Ronaldo? We work to allow him to fully express his strength and demonstrate his skills. At the moment he is not in top form but having him as a teammate is an absolute added value. Let us not forget, fortunately, that in front of us, we have Dybala and Higuain, who are doing great.”
