Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show in Lithuania last night as he and Portugal swept aside their Euro 2020 qualifying opponents 1-5. The Bianconero forward put on a stellar show to see him score four goals, while William Carvalho got the other at LFF Stadium. CR7's goals also meant that he broke the record for the most goals scored (25) in European qualifiers.

Demiral also enjoyed a massive victory with his nation, Turkey, as they claimed a 0-4 triumph over Maldova. The 21-year-old featured for the full 90 minutes.

France also claimed a victory: recording a 3-0 triumph over Andorra. Matuidi was an unused substitute for the match.

Moving over to South America, Paulo Dybala came on as a substitute for Argentina in their 4-0 friendly match win over Mexico, while Alex Sandro featured in Brazil’s loss to Peru. Also in action was Rodrigo Bentancur, who started for Uruguay in their 1-1 draw to the USA, while Cuadrado also took to the field against Venezuela.
