Taking a philosophical point-of-view, Juventus defender, Leonardo Bonucci gave his thoughts after the team’s defeat against Genoa: "It’s never nice to lose - he explains - but then again after Tuesday's game, we knew today would be a difficult match from both a physical and mental point of view.”
Bonucci continues: “Today won’t have an impact on our season, it is just a hiccup on our path. Now let's recover after the break and begin again with Empoli. Against Atletico we gave everything to the very end, so this break now in the season is a godsend. Those who will link up with their national teams will be able to recover because they play in a few days, whilst those who stay here will have the opportunity to regain their energy.”
On the match: "We had a good start in the second half and we were trying to create chances. It’s too bad, because the disallowed goal and then the one we conceded took the wind out of sails.”
