You say, "Juventus For Special" and think of the Juventus team, made up of boys with disabilities, who for two years have participated with excellent results in the "Fourth Category" championship.
But the Juventus For Special project is not only this: the message it brings with it is an invitation to overcome disability, to look beyond, to develop skills through sport, and to better integrate into society.
This message was the basis of the Juventus For Special @School program: a training event throughout an entire season dedicated to schools of every grade and level, during which the athletes of the Juventus team explained to normal-bodied girls and boys what they have learned and are still learning through football.
The goal of this initiative, as of the whole Juventus For Special project, is the promotion of a culture of transversal integration that extends also to people with different abilities.
And then on the field: the season may have concluded, but the season is not over. From the 21st to the 23rd of June, in Coverciano, the Fourth Category Special Cup will take place: twelve teams (the winners of the Regional tournaments of the 2017/2018 season and of the 2018/2019 season) will compete in the Federal Technical Center, in a tournament of soccer where a team will be dubbed the Champion of Italy.
