Juventus sadly says goodbye to Donna Marella, who passed away today. Born in Florence, Marella Caracciolo di Castagneto married Gianni Agnelli in 1953, and remained by his side until 2003, the year of his death.

Honorary President of the Pinacoteca "Giovanni and Marella Agnelli", Donna Marella was a member of the International Board of Trustees of the Salk Institute of San Diego (California) and of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

She was also vice president of the Council of Palazzo Grassi in Venice, president of "I 200 del FAI" of Milan, as well as president of the Turin Association of Contemporary Arts of Turin and vice president of the National Commission of the United World Colleges.

On October 2000, she was awarded the title of "Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic".

On this sad day, Juventus’ thoughts are with the whole Agnelli family to whom we offer our heartfelt and affectionate condolences. On Sunday, February 24, The First Team, Under 23, Under 19, Under 17, Under 16 and Under 15 will all wear black armbands to remember Lady Marella.
