Juventus remembers Gianfranco Leoncini

Gianfranco Leoncini, pillar of Juventus from 1958 to 1970, left us on Friday at the age of 79.

A tireless and flexible midfielder, who used to be deployed as an external defender too. That wasn’t his only attribute though, as he knew how to strike forward, achieving 25 goals in his 384 appearances in the black and white jersey. That same jersey is exhibited at the Juventus Museum to remember his 12 seasons in Turin, during which he won three Serie A titles, in the 1960, 1961 and 1967, as well as many Italian Cups, in 1959, 1960 and 1965.

Juventus remembers the great "Leo" with infinite affection and clings to the pain of his family, to which our deepest condolences, from the company and all the fans, are extended to.
