TRANSPARENCY AND REPORTING

Measure, Report, Be Transparent.

For Juventus, integrating sustainability also means measuring its progress and transparently reporting on its ESG performance, impacts and priorities.

Over time, the Club has progressively structured its processes for collecting, validating, controlling and reporting sustainability information, establishing responsibilities and oversight mechanisms throughout the entire data management process.

Today, the Consolidated Sustainability Statement is one of the main tools through which Juventus annually communicates its ESG policies, actions, objectives and performance to its stakeholders.

A Journey That Began in 2013/2014

Juventus was among the first Italian football clubs to embark on a structured sustainability reporting journey. Since the 2013/2014 season, the Club has published an annual report dedicated to its sustainability journey, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to measurement and transparency towards its stakeholders.

The first Sustainability Report, covering the 2013/2014 season, was prepared in accordance with the GRI G4 Guidelines. In the following years, this reporting journey progressively evolved: from the 2021/2022 season, the document took the form of a Non-Financial Statement, prepared pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 254/2016 and in accordance with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards.

From the 2024/2025 season, Juventus took a further step forward by integrating sustainability reporting into its Annual Financial Report, in accordance with the framework established by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

The Consolidated Sustainability Statement is now supported by a structured process for collecting, managing and verifying ESG data, with clearly defined responsibilities throughout the data management process and specific internal control measures.

The Statement is also subject to assurance by an independent third party, further strengthening the reliability and transparency of the information disclosed to stakeholders.
