Tomorrow evening, at 21:00 CET, Juventus welcome Lazio to the Allianz Stadium in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Today Massimiliano Allegri addressed the press in the customary pre-match conference.

The coach first touched on the league defeat to Monza at the weekend, "The players are sorry, disappointed and upset. Tomorrow we have to put our league issues aside."

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CUP

"The Coppa Italia is another competition. It will be a difficult match against Lazio, a team that is performing well at the moment.

"It is a direct knock-out match. It is necessary we approach the game with the idea in the forefront of our minds that this is a one-off encounter. It could go all the way to extra-time, so substitutions might prove to be even more important."

TOMORROW'S TEAM SELECTION

"I'll decide the line-up tomorrow morning. Apart from [Leonardo] Bonucci, the only player not available is [Paul] Pogba, who is suffering from some tightness in his flexors. It'll take a little patience, he needs to reset the motor, it'll take time. The same thing happened to [Federico] Chiesa. [Dušan] Vlahović should play from the start. As for [Juan] Cuadrado? He's fine."

THE PECULIAR MOMENT AT JUVENTUS

"Last Sunday against Monza the whole team put on a bad performance. I made three changes at half-time and we improved slightly.

"We must remain concentrated, however, because the 15-point deduction must not become an alibi, the club will take care of defending itself against the charges."
