After the hectic start to the season over the first month of action, club football takes a break, making way for international duty in the Nations League and friendlies leading up to the World Cup.

Here are the 14 Juventus players called up by their respective countries:

  • Argentina: Angel Di Maria & Leandro Paredes
  • Brazil: Bremer & Danilo
  • Colombia: Cuadrado
  • Italy: Leonardo Bonucci & Federico Gatti
  • Italy U21: Nicolò Fagioli & Fabio Miretti
  • Serbia: Filip Kostić & Dušan Vlahović
  • Poland: Arkadiuszk Milik & Wojciech Szczęsny
  • USA: Weston McKennie

NATIONS LEAGUE

There are official matches for the major European national teams. Bonucci and Gatti are part of the Italy squad to face England on Friday 23 September at San Siro, and Hungary on Monday 26 September at Puskás Aréna.

On 22 September Poland with Milik and Szczęsny in the squad host group leaders Netherlands at the national stadium in Warsaw, then on Sunday 25 September they visit Wales at the Cardiff Stadium, kicking off at the same time.

Kostić and Vlahović with Serbia will face Sweden and Norway. The first match is scheduled for Saturday 24 September at the Rajko Mitić stadium, the second on Tuesday 27 September at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. All matches kick off at 20:45 CEST.

FRIENDLY MATCHES

Friendlies for Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Italy Under 21 and the United States.

Starting with the Azzurrini, Fagioli and Miretti are in action on Thursday 22 September at 17:30 CEST against England. The Italy Under 21s then play on Monday 26 September at 15:30 CEST against Japan.

The senior national teams also have back-to-back matches. The Argentina of Di Maria and Paredes are involved on Saturday 24 September at 02:00 CEST against Honduras in Miami, to then face Jamaica on 28 September at the same time, in Whippany, New Jersey. Like Argentina, Juan Cuadrado and his Colombia play in the United States. First on Sunday 25 September at 01:30 CEST against Guatemala in Harrison, New Jersey, then on Tuesday 27 September at 04:00 CEST against Mexico, in Santa Clara, California.

Europe, on the other hand, will be the scene of Brazil's and USA's matches. Brazil with Danilo and Bremer, on his first call-up to the national team, are in France and play on Friday 23 September at 01:30 CEST in Le Havre, for Brazil-Ghana on 27 September, then in Paris at the same time against Tunisia. Weston McKennie and his USA teammates, meanwhile are in Germany and Spain, first playing on September 23 at 14:25 CEST against Japan in Düsseldorf, and on September 27 at 20:00 CEST against Saudi Arabia in Murcia.
