On Thursday, March 16, Juventus play at the Europa-Park Stadion. In doing so, the Bianconeri will become the first Italian side to play at the home of Freiburg.
Like Juve, the side from the Black Forest last weekend welcomed the team in last place in the standings. The 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim in the Baden-Württemberg derby arrived thanks to a last-minute winner from Ritsu Doan and boosted Freiburg's already impressive statistics at home.

HOME FORM
Freiburg's home record this season in the Bundesliga reads eight wins, three draws and just one defeat. The only setback at the Europa-Park Stadion came on their first home outing of the season, against Borussia Dortmund. Since that loss in August, Freiburg have earned 27 of their 45-point total at home.
The three points earned over Hoffenheim pushed Christian Streich's team into equal third place alongside RB Leipzig and Union Berlin. As a reward for successfully building on last season's sixth place finish, the longest-serving coach in Bundesliga, at the Freiburg helm since 2011, has had his contract exteded ahead of the second leg with Juve.

Taking into consideration also the Europa League, Freiburg's unbeaten run stretches to 15 home matches. The German side earned six points out of six from the opening two matches in Group G, defeating Qarabağ and Nantes. However, against Olympiakos in the final home fixture, with qualification already assured, the Breidgau Brazilians tied the match at 1-1 following a 93rd minute equaliser from Lukas Kübler.
Freiburg are unbeaten in their last eight home matches in European competition, last succumbing to defeat on 13 December 2013 to Sevilla in the Europa League group stages in season 2013/14.
