Following the Juventus Men's First Team's 2-1 pre-season win over Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, coach Igor Tudor and goalscorer Andrea Cambiaso shared their thoughts.

IGOR TUDOR

“It’s hard to analyse friendlies, there’s still some freshness and speed in the legs missing. But the boys did well. It was a good session for us, and a serious match. Now we’ll work on playing time, focus on Wednesday and Atalanta, and then we’ll get started. There’s not a lot of time left and we need to start thinking about Serie A.

“The important thing today was that nobody got injured, so that’s good. Winning doesn’t matter much, it’s important to show the right attitude, to be in the right condition and prepare as best we can for the important games.”

ANDREA CAMBIASO

“We played a serious game, and we’re happy because we’ve had a great week here in Germany. We trained really well and we ended it with a good game.

“My objective is to be more decisive in the opponents’ area. Playing a bit higher up, I can be more incisive [like today]. I’m starting my third year with Juventus and I’m very proud, I want to be important for the team and for my teammates.

“As a group we have to focus in every training session, every game, and to always give everything. The coach is working us a lot and, from that point of view, we’re working well. He wants us to understand that every competition is important, because we’re Juventus and we always have to give our all, in every game.

“I’m happy to see [Gleison] Bremer finding the fitness again and I’m sure he’ll give us a huge hand.”
