Having completed a comeback win at home to Napoli on Serie A Women Matchday 9, Juventus Women’s First Team coach Massimiliano Canzi and goalscorer Chiara Beccari spoke.
The win was the Bianconere's 150th in Serie A.
MASSIMILIANO CANZI
“We went in at half-time really angry, particularly me. We played much better in the second half, but if the game had ended in a draw we couldn’t have complained too much. We won the game in the end because our individual quality shone through, but I really want to emphasise how well Napoli played today. Again, the substitutions played an important part for us because they allowed us to shift through the gears in the last few minutes. Having played in Austria on Tuesday, I tried to dose the girls’ minutes a bit, and I got a positive reaction.
“Barbara [Bonansea] didn’t finish the game in the best physical shape, clearly. She suffered a minor injury, and she’ll have to have tests to see if she’ll be available for the next few games.
“I don’t think Inter and Roma being out of Europe will give them an advantage, so long as we play every game we have as if it’s a final.”

CHIARA BECCARI
“I’m more pleased with the result than with the performance, because it was important to win here against Napoli.
“Personally, I’m trying to improve on my consistency throughout the game, and I hope I managed to find that consistency a bit today. What satisfied me most about today was the team's reaction to going a goal behind. It was that reaction that allowed us to win.
“Before the game against Lyon I had always played on the left, but I have to say that I’m enjoying myself on the right, so I don’t have a preference between the two. Today, Barbara [Bonansea] and I swapped often, and I felt just as comfortable on the right as on the left.”
