Italy’s most successful football club side and the world’s most famous action videogame franchise have teamed up in an exciting new partnership.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is set for release on 4 November, will become the Official Action Videogame of Juventus Football Club, marking the first ever collaboration between the global series and Serie A reigning champions.

Both parties already have plenty in common, having broken a multitude of records and continued to improve to be the best in their respective fields year on year.

“Juventus is the perfect partner for Call of Duty®,” states Paolo Chisari, Senior Director and General Manager Italy and Emerging Markets at Activision Blizzard Italy.

“The commitment and dedication of Juventus players, together with the passion of their fans, are values not only shared by our loyal gamers, but also our development studios, which are constantly committed to delivering a new, exciting and groundbreaking Call of Duty® experience.”

Francesco Calvo, Chief Revenue Officer at Juventus, also had this to say on the announcement: “The partnership between Juventus and Call of Duty links the two worlds of soccer and videogames. Both are united by the need to tackle tough tasks and take on new challenges, but also by shared values such as team play and collaboration, which are vital to achieve success.

“This is why we are proud that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare makes its debut with our team as Official Action Videogame.”

In order to bring in the new partnership, an unusual box was delivered via helicopter to Juventus Center in Vinovo. Bianconeri stars Giorgio Chiellini, Kingsley Coman, Paul Pogba and Marco Storari were the first to notice the arrival of this package but what did they find inside?
