UBI Banca has become Juventus’ Official Bank following today’s announcement of a commercial partnership, which enables the firm to enjoy all the benefits of a top-level sponsor of the Bianconeri.

Meanwhile, fans of the Old Lady will have special access to a selection of ad hoc services, including personalised bank cards with Juventus-related images, the very first of which was presented to Juventus Legends president David Trezeguet.

Joining Trezegol for this evening’s announcement of the sponsorship deal were Eleonora Pedron, Luigi Rossi di Montelera, President of Banca Regionale Europea, Director General Riccardo Barbarini, and Giorgio Ricci, Head of Global Partnerships and Corporate Revenues at Juventus.

“We are delighted to announce this partnership, which brings together two leaders in their respective fields,” said Riccardo Barbarini, Director General at Banca Regionale Europea, a UBI Banca subsidiary in the north west of Italy with branches in Piedmont, Liguria and the Aosta Valley.

“Just as Juventus have been able to reach the top of the national game, reaffirming themselves year after year as a great club – off the field as much as on it – our company has carved itself an important position in the nation’s banking landscape through balanced business management and concerted efforts to ensure transparency and solidity,” he added.

Giorgio Ricci, Juventus’ Head of Global Partnerships and Corporate Revenues, said: “This agreement with UBI Banca represents a new breed of partnership based on the sharing of important objectives. We are expecting to see concrete, tangible results.

“Juventus will be the channel for UBI Banca to access millions of people and offer them tailored products.”

Quality, professionalism and an unquestioned commitment to meeting ever-growing objectives are just some of the characteristics that are shared by Juventus and the third largest commercial banking group on the Italian stock exchange, which currently represents a market share of five percent with a total of 1,560 branches and 17,500 employees across the territory.

As another big season lies ahead, Juventus and UBI Banca are looking forward to forming a simply irresistible, winning combination.
