International friendlies begin for Bianconeri

Little over a week since Juventus’ 2017/18 season ended, it’s time for several Bianconeri to lace up their boots again for their respective national sides.

Miralem Pjanic is on duty tonight for Bosnia and Herzegovina, who take on neighbouring country, Montenegro, at 18.00 CEST in Zenica.

Kicking off at 20.45 CEST, meanwhile, Juve’s defensive duo of Mattia De Sciglio and Daniele Rugani will be involved in Italy’s friendly against Saudi Arabia – a match which will be held in the neutral venue of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Rolando Mandragora, who spent the season on loan to Crotone, and Mattia Caldara, who is approaching the end of a loan spell with Atalanta, are also selected for Roberto Mancini’s first squad as manager of the Azzurri.

Tonight’s final friendly match at 21.00 CEST sees Blaise Matuidi on duty for France, as they host the Republic of Ireland in Paris. Matuidi and Les Bleus are gearing up for the FIFA World Cup in Russia later this summer.
